On May 26th, more than 130 golfers teed-off at the La Prairie Golf Club which officially launched the 10th anniversary of the AMETVS!

Superb weather, splendid kept golf course, breath taking settings, the golfers played the 18-holes course interspersed with fun and games.

Great golfers... great mulligans!

Players had the chance to demonstrate their golfing skills throughout the day on many occasions :

The 2nd Hole - Phil Mickelson for the longest drive
Louis Grenier, Canadian Space Agency

The 4th Hole - Leif Olson for Hole-in-One
No lucky player this time

The 6th Hole - Adrien Bigras for the greatest putt
Gordon Breen, CGER

The 7th Hole - Arnold Palmer for the clip closest to the pin
Hugues Lajoie, Rio Tinto Alcan

The 17th Hole - Denis Robillard for the ball in water hazard
Among the 28 unhappy few, Jean-Claude Chevalier's name of Fourgons Élite was pulled out of the hat.

The 19th Hole - For the lowest score
The foursome of Richard Bourbeau, Sixpro inc., Guy Bérard and Mario Vitali, Rad Technologies, and Paul Del Guildice of Ray-Mont Logistics.

A day dedicated to the Builders of the AMETVS

The golf tournament was an opportunity to highlight our builder's sustained engagement and support. They have been behind the AMETVS and believe in it since day one:

$490 raised for the Relay for Life

During the golf tournament, the AMETVS supported people struggling with cancer and joined the Relay for Life fundraising efforts by organizing a putting contest. Players were invited to test their skills for a donation. A total of $490 was raised which made Andrée Crevier and her team very pleased.
