The 2009 edition brought together more than 400 participants around public transit theme. Of these, more than 40 contractors from Quebec, Canada, the United States, France, Italy and Mexico have lent themselves to business meetings with Québec's suppliers of vehicles. The event also allowed the AMETVS participants to announce the definite interest of several major foreign companies to develop Tier1 manufacturing sites in Quebec in order to develop the North American market.
